Gatherings

Ceilidh
Ceilidh, pronounced 'kay-lee, is a Scottish word meaning party or gathering.  This gathering is an opportunity for the members of the Barony to sing, dance, make merry, share arts and sciences projects, enjoy good food, drink, dancing, and fellowship. It is also a chance for newcomers to see just what the SCA has to offer.

The ceilidh happens the second Monday of every month from October through the following May, 7:00 p.m. at Pringle Hall, 606 Church St. SE, Salem.  This gathering is in garb so please make an attempt to wear clothing that looks as if it were pre-17th century. Loaner garb is usually available from Gold Key. Don't let the lack of garb keep you from the fun!
