Adult Classes (All classes at the permanent shelter unless noted otherwise.)

1100-100 Sat	Beginning Felting - Stephen the Merchant
1100-1200 Sat	Middle Eastern Folk Dance – Samira
100-200 Sat	Beginning Tribal Belly Dance – Samira
230-300 Sat	Intermediate Tribal Belly Dance – Samira
400-500 Sat	Dances from Arbeau’s Orchesographie – Samira
1100-1200 Sun	Early Period Non-Alcoholic Beverages – Lady Eulalia de Ravenfeld - $2.00 fee, bring a cup.

Youth Classes (All classes at the permanent shelter unless noted otherwise.)

1000-1100 Sat	Beginning Pottery: Bowl (ages 8 & up only) – Mehitabel – Maximum of 10. Making bowls only.Parents must remain present for the duration of the class. $10.00 if bowl is fired & mailed to maker.
200-300 Sat	Heraldry – Master Cesare the Merchant - at Terra Pomaria’s Baronial Paviliion (Eric)
330-400 Sat	Chirurgeon class for youth - Summaya – at the Chirurgeon’s pavilion (Eric)

Bardic: On the eric Saturday night

PAINTED CHARTER CONTEST!!!

There will be a Painted Charter Contest at Crown. Any scribe may enter for a chance for fame and glory as well as prizes for the winners! Painted charters must either be received by Dame Tamlyn of Wyntersea the week before Crown or they must be delivered at Crown by noon on Saturday, 5 September.

Categories are:

King Cedric's Favorite Painted Charter
Queen Elizabeth's Favorite Painted Charter
Sable Sable's Favorite Charter Painted by a New Scribe ( having painted for only one year or less )
The Stunt Royal Scribes' Favorite Painted Charter

To qualify, legibly print your SCA name, contact information and local SCA branch in pencil on the back of the charter, above the cutoff point. (If there’s no contact information, there’s no way to get your prize to you if you’re a winner!) If you are a new scribe (having painted for only one year or less), please indicate that as well.

Charters may be delivered to Dame Tamlyn by the week before Crown or must be delivered at September Crown to the College of Scribes’ pavilion on the eric by noon on Saturday, 5 September. HL Renart the Fox and HL Anne Brynley will be standing in as Stunt Royal Scribes in the Royal Scribe's absence. (Note: This is not an on-site painting contest.)
