The Crown Tournament format will be: Eight erics - round robin, the top two from each eric will advance to the
"sweet sixteen." The finals will be fought in a ninth pristine eric reserved only for the finals.
Any weapon style is acceptable. No weapon may be used to thrust. Shields are encouraged, but not required, to be no more than the following sizes:
-Heater style shields (shoulder to shoulder, chin to crotch)
-Round shields (elbow to elbow with the top two knuckles of each hand touching)
Please remember to bring your shield board if possible (approximately 3 X 5 inches) for the lists board. Want a new shield board or don't even have one? If so, see our fundraising page. Shield boards are metal and available for $5 blank or $25 painted with your device.

We are looking for Archery marshals to help run the range.
Daôi Mánaskroggr Vébrandsson, the YAC Minister for the Central Region will be running the tournament. The Summits Youth Combat Marshal Graf Berek von Langental will help with marshaling.
The style of the tournament is round-robin with any authorized weapons, (but only the bouts being between the participants of the same class being counted in determining the win/loss ratio.) The top ratio fights the next highest ratio in his or her class in a best two out of three final.
Equestrian Activities:
1) Tourney to Select Next Kingdom Equestrian Champion
2) Practice and authorizations (scheduled times)
3) Cavalry drills and/or carousel (riding to music)
4) Trail rides (the park has wonderful trails!)
5) IKEqC (if there is interest in turning in official scores) -or- an additional challenge tourney
6) Classes related to equestrian (such things as making weapons and games equipment, barding, garb, ground crew 101 and 201). Anyone with a request for a specific activity or a class (or who wants to volunteer to sponsor an activity or teach a class) please contact the equestrian coordinator, HL Macha the Determined.
